I was considering buying this solely as a MGS machine, since my PS3 feels bad all the time and the poor girl can't be long for this world. I just can't imagine playing any 3D game with a D-pad.....am I a big fat baby? I got my original Playstation after the launch of the dualshock. I need MGS and MGS4 on steam or somewhere so I can finally retire the ps3

@ghost_cat: but what about diagonal movement!? SNES sidescrollers were all totally fine with d-pad, but moving Snake around like that feels like one of those "this man beat dark souls with a guitar hero controler" misuses of life.
