Let me just start from the beginning, I was training my Emboar and after the battle I was in I went to go save. While saving I saw that he had turned into an egg, I popped the DS cart out but it was too late. The game had fully saved. So now I'm stuck with a egg of what was once my emboar. Now the funny thing is that this isn't the first time this has happened to me. On my original run of the game my watchog had turned into an egg. Same thing happened when I was saving so I just restarted the game and picked Tepig this time instead of Oshawott, but that's besides the point right now. So is my game fucked up or something?
Now I know what bad eggs are and this is honestly what it looks to be like but my question is "Why?"
He wasn't hacked at all, he was my starter for that matter.
I don't own an R4, so technically I couldn't hack.
I haven't taken the game online at all or have traded with friends.
Basically I'm asking if anyone knows anythings and if my game fucked and should just buy a new copy of Black or White.
Thanks for anyone's input. =)
Pokémon Black/White
Game » consists of 8 releases. Released Mar 06, 2011
Pokémon Black and White are the fifth generation of Pokémon games for the Nintendo DS. Both introduce several new game play innovations to the series including a more complex battle system, fully-animated 3D models and environments, extensive online integration, and a refresh of the entire selection of Pokémon.
My pokemon just turned into an egg.
Calm down and listen carefully. Your DS cart has become an anomaly of physics, and is actively defying entropy. If you let it continue, its influence will spread until this whole planet has reverted back to a dead rock. Destroy via any means necessary.
Does it say bad egg or is still the pokemons name? In past generations it has been because of an invalid checksum. There is no information about bad eggs and such in Generation V on Bulbapedia. If you are 100% sure that you've never used any cheats or hacked pokemon then... I don't know. You could as for the pokemon to be hacked back to how it was. It must be te cartridge if there's no cheating involved.
It will probably never hatch so I wouldn't waste your time trying. It sounds like your game is messed up, but there's no way I can say for certain. I doubt you could convince a game shop that they should give you a refund though...
Call Nintendo?
But first, hatch that monstrosity.
Also have a search on serebii to see if anyone else has encountered it.
I called Nintendo, they tried to refer me to the Prima Guide because the lady was thinking I was asking for game help." Call Nintendo? But first, hatch that monstrosity. Also have a search on serebii to see if anyone else has encountered it. "
Hatching seems impossible because I walked and I walked and I walked for about 2 hours checking it every once and a while and it hasn't changed yet.
As for Serebii, I made a thread on there and they just called me a liar and a "Hackfag". Some community they have there.
I think I'm just gonna either return it to Amazon and get a new copy or just buy a new copy and never play this useless piece of trash again.
