    Overview

Pokémon Card GB2: GR-dan Sanjou! (the sub-title loosely translated to "Here Comes Team Great Rocket!") is a virtual collectible card game and fantasy RPG developed by Hudson Soft and published by The Pokémon Company for the Game Boy Color exclusively in Japan on March 28, 2001.

The sequel to Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon Card GB2 features over 440 Cards to collect (adding those from the Team Rocket expansion), a variety of pre-built Decks, a Deck diagnosis feature, some UI improvements, and a brand new story involving the antagonistic Team Great Rocket (who have kidnapped the Club Masters).

It is notable for being the first game published by The Pokémon Company (without envolving Nintendo) and the last to be released for the GBC. Copies of the game included a promotional Lugia card, while a special edition console bundle included a promotional Mewtwo card ("GR-dan no Mewtwo").
