    Overview

    Portal of Evil: Stolen Runes is a hidden object game developed and published by 8 Floor Games for Mac, PC, iPhone, and iPad.

    Story

    The player assumes the role of Vanessa. Vanessa has been invited to Italy by Archbishop Benedict. Vanessa finds out she is the only heiress of Abraham Van Helsinga. Abraham Van Helsinga was one of the members of the secret order of light who were tasked with guarding the peace of our world.

    Vanessa discovers, through use of clues left by her grandfather that she can open doors to different times and worlds.

    Gameplay

    In Portal of Evil: Stolen Runes players are presented with scenes which contain a static background screen with several objects to click on. These objects can lead to a puzzle or a hidden object screen.
