It's definitely one of the best games I've ever played, and not so much for the puzzles, but the entire atmosphere the game presents you with.  It just makes you feel good.  I don't think I turned my DS off once since I started, just left it in sleep mode between short bursts of playing it.

The warmness of the whole experience together with the great story and writing, and characters, and the animated cutscenes... oh my god.  It's had a weird effect on me, and left an impression that Jeff said it would in his review.

I really can't wait for the next game in the series.

By the way... ever notice how his head strikingly resembles a legoman's head?

There have been a lot of Professor Layton threads popping up here at the moment. Great to see so many people playing it at the moment because its a great game and best on the DS for me thats for sure. I cant say I agree about the lego man resemblance, but I couldnt agree more about the impending localisation of the first sequel.
