Let's be realistic about GOTY for a sec. We can eliminate some already & break it down to a few if we really tried, instead of just naming every decent game in 2011. What we know, is that UC3, MW3 & BF3 can't win because they are rehashes of a rehash. Also, they screwed up the aiming system in UC3, making it the least favorable amongst fans. LBP2 can be eliminated as well, as it was too similiar to the original. Skyward Sword can be eliminated because it would damage GB's credibility if it won. Super Mario 3D Land could win, but the sole fact that it's on the 3DS makes it a longshot. Gears 3 could win, but not enough has changed for GOTY. Dark Souls doesn't appeal enough to mass market, so prolly not. It's really down to Portal 2, Dead Space 2, Arkham City, or Skyrim. For real, any objections?
