Video Game Review Non-Review Intro Part 2

Alright folks, so I decided that my first game to do my Review Non-Review will be Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, since I just beat it this weekend. But before I write the review, I have no criteria to work with... which is a problem, cause without that I got nothing to stick with guideline-wise. What I have right now is: Graphics, Audio, Controls, Weapons, AI, Difficulty, and Fun Factor. Now those don't have to stay the same, they can change, with you, the readers', help, if not, I can just stick with the one's I chose and go with that. Now that doesn't mean I can't write the Non-Review part of it, which I am heavily into right now, and I will post that along with the "Review" so sorry about the wait guys. I will post again as soon as I can.

Also, should I stick with just modern games, or should I go old school and do some retro reviews for like NES, SNES, maybe arcade? Let me know!

A Video Game Enthusiast's Video Game Review non-Review Intro!

Every video game critic writes their reviews based on what seems like a set schedule, a specific set of things to look for, and has to be firm with their review. I always wondered if the people who wrote reviews for games actually in fact, if given the freedom to play when they want, not look for anything specific, not be bound by a set by a list of criteria, would write an entirely different review. Yeah, maybe that's the optimist in me, or maybe that's the writer's taste vs. my taste in games, but I like to think that there's a lot of games out there that don't get the fairness they deserve. So, this blog will be an attempt to not only give a firm, tough review on games, but then, give my honestly opinions on the games after I spend as much time as I really want to on them. Finally, I know that there will be some games that will suck either way, but hey, it doesn't hurt giving it a try. So! Stay tuned for the next couple of weeks for the many blog posts to come.
