Love Metallica...their rendition of am i evil (particularly on the live sh*t: Binge and Purge dvd/cd) blows diamond head's away.  my favorite 'tallica tune is harvester of sorrow, followed by sad but true, for whom the bell tolls, and seek and destroy.  i know their newer stuff gets sh*t on by a lot of people, but i like what i like (yes,  even st. anger)    (funny thing is i was listening to creeping death when i noticed this thread)

hey what ever makes you happy, i say go for it...you sure as sh*t shouldn't keep stuff around just for someone else's sake (especially if it belongs to you anyway).  and i can definately understand wanting to get closer to your father.  i am very close with mine and wouldnt trade it for anything.  (in fact he even helped me build a home made coffin for my 1976 cadillac hearse, and yes we are a f*cked up family :)

i'd agree with those who suggest practice...with time i'm sure you could get used to it.  i personally prefer the fightpad (but at the same time am a huge street fighter fan and don't mind spending 40 bucks on a dedicated controller)

personally don't care for the 360 controller for SFIV and instead have one of the fightpads...however my preference is certainly colored by the fact that i have had a fightpad type controller on every system that i've ever played street fighter on since the SNES days (of course way back then the default controller was basically a fightpad) :)
