There hasn't been anyone on GB in the ten years I've been following the site who I was so hot and cold on as Dan. I feel like if I'd have met Dan at College (in his throwing stink bombs into bar days) I might well have attempted to do him serious harm; listening to his unbelievable ignorance on numerous really quite important topics have had me gritting my teeth through the Beastcast and Bombcast more than once... but I feel like if I met him in real life we'd get along just fine.
Best of luck to you Dan. The mother-ship of crazy is calling you home.
I’ve wanted to love every From software game since demon’s souls, thinking ‘this one will hook me’. Sekiro is the first.
I’m really enjoying the variety of the gameplay when you get good and get some tools and items. I really struggled with Dark Souls combat, but this feels really good and when I miss time and get my face smashed I know what I did wrong.
This is my first Forza. I’m sad to say I’m not loving it for two very specific reasons.
First, difficulty. With drivatar AI set to ‘average’ every race is a walk. If it’s a circuit with multiple laps I’m first by the end of lap 1 and then alone for the rest of the race. So I bump the AI up to ‘above average’ and I never get near the lead cars of the same race. I’m coming in 6th or lower every time. Neither of these are any fun.
The other thing is that every race gives me the choice to go ‘pvp’ and every single one has timed out without a single other player joining.
Any advice on either of these issues cos they’re killing the game for me at the moment.
If everyone stopped buying anything but the base game we'd find out the truth, no? If no-one bought any of their extras and all they got was the base amount I wonder what would happen. Would $60 become $70? $80?
