This game came up somehow in a conversation with my wife and mother. It is the only time in my life I remember my mother genuinely being interested in me talking about a game.
While not the most dedicated fan, I rode the roller coaster and came away thinking destiny was something special. BUT it's a few decisions away from greatness.
As far as classes go, maybe they were trying to get away from the typical RPG/MMO standards, but they all seemed like they came down to "how do you want to kill stuff?" I fell of borderlands real hard, but the classes on that felt very distinct.
Clutter is a big issue for me. Like @matova said, you can end up with too much junk. After accepting quests and bounties and whatnot it could lead to paralysis for me. Too much to do, what do I do next, where do I go?
Example: a quest has me complete a certain strike. I don't know where that strike is, so I have to go to the map and look at all the locations with quest markers to find it.
Could there be a feed you can scroll through and if I select an activity, I can just launch into it from there?
The tower: ugh. So much back and forth. I get wanting to have social spaces, but if I have to wait through 2 loads everytime I need to visit the cryptarch. Ugh.
It would be nice to go straight from patrol directly into other activities at the same location.
Repeatable dynamic randomized dungeons. Something like Bloodbornes chalice dungeons would be cool.
Anyways, there's probably more and I would articulate more, but I hate typing on my phone.
