Good article - as a longtime Fire Emblem superfan, I must say that the waifu and face touching stuff in Fates has finally reached the point of creepiness to me. Camilla, in particular, is supposed to be your sister, but spends most of the game making not so subtle advances at the main character. While she may be the game's most obvious "obligatory waifu" stereotype, her character design and dialogue was just absurd to me and is probably the worst example of this in the series' history. She feels more at home in a Dead or Alive game than Fire Emblem. Here's to hoping Intelligent Systems continues this great franchise after the success of Awakening and Fates and leaves the waifu content to some low budget spinoff series.
