Just got my Iphone 3g last month!! AND LOVING IT!!! you will love the touch, they are sick!!
Bad games do not detract from the good ones though, and should not have any say on the quality of the system... there are plenty of TERRIBLE 360/PS3/WII games. Since the Iphone is heavily community based on content it will always have its bad games... but look at the 360 community games... check out "Swords and Monsters", its basically a scam game that you beat IN ONE SECOND!! It cost 200MPs and yet this game is on the top ten most downloaded community games... the xbox is not any worse off for it... its not any better though..

You know the Wii doesnt have "standard" controls and its the big dog this gen.. I think the iphone just needs to find its niche and it will do just fine as a gaming platform.
I guess if the DS and PSP are not considered consoles I would say the Iphone is not as well... but imho the iphone is no different than these systems.

Sorry but this is one of the Iphones biggest selling points to me... what makes a game less of a game? because a "person" made it? because its 99 cents?
