@octaslash: I actually don't understand why people group 5 and 6 together. In my head I group 4 and 5 together. They both had similar gameplay, it's just RE5 is to RE4 like RE3 is to RE2. RE5 and RE3 are the follow up sequel that is similar to the resounding success of the prior game that doesn't quite live up to it but it still pretty cool and adds a fun gameplay element.

RE6 is an entirely different beast. The character movement is so different in RE6 compared to 4 and 5. (It feels like you're floating instead of on the ground.) The atmosphere is completely different. It's RE6 and Umbrella Corps that should be paired together IMO. At least... that's how they are in my head because it felt like those two controlled more similarly to each other and were not like 4 and 5. But at the same time I didn't play much of RE6 and Umbrella Corps (whereas I beat 4 and 5) because they both just seemed bad.

@alex Now that I finished the game and can listen to all the content regarding Last of Us 2. Regarding the embargo specificity... the problem with the current internet is that not not as simple as avoiding Last of Us coverage. All forms of social media are now recommending content to consume, and too many creators use click bait titles that will purposefully put in shocking spoiler information in titles of their posts.

People who loved Last of Us 1 will get Last of Us 2 content promoted to them if they watched any YouTube video of the first game. Maybe for just playing an Uncharted game or any Playstation game, or any game, or anything remotely related to pop culture, or for not reason at all.

I had to avoid not just specific creators, but all forms for any kind of online content at all if possible on the final weeks leading up to release, and when I did browse I had to look at article titles with basically my periphery vision to see if it was at all related to try to skip it.

And I didn't totally succeed. The day of launch, I saw one title that gave a general description of the game that described a type of motivation that tipped me off to a major story point that happened in the game.

The internet is so targeted these days, that it's not as simple as not clicking on something anymore.

I, personally, don't want more than this about the story for the closing of another trilogy. Tone is all the trailer should go for, much like the Endgame trailers.

This was my first Endurance Run and I watched these the day, sometimes the hour, they were released. Good thing too, because I missed all the hate in the comments. I wonder how these people we feel about all their comments now in retrospect. This is still an all time great game, and this Endurance Run was fantastic. Time for a rewatch.

@johnymyko: Exactly. Skip the Super filler? That's crazy talk. That's going to be some of the favorite parts for Jeff and Dan. The Super movies are the wrong way to go for these two.

As for GT. I've never seen any of it and so I can't comment on how good it is, but I'd gladly watch along if the podcast goes down that direction.

As for what they should podcast next, they should probably do OG Dragon Ball first, as long as Super hasn't completed the English dub. If they pause the podcast long enough for the dub to finish (which I'm guessing is going to be six to nine months), then they can continue on to Super as the next phase.

In defense of Jeff, anime is as broad as television. If someone likes Game of Thrones, they can still think Temptation Island looks like trash. There absolutely is great and trash television, and there is great and trash anime.

Does Jeff watch super hero movies? I don't think he does. And if that's the case My Hero Academia probably isn't to his taste and he correctly identified that.
