Utterly fantastic. Undeniably my favorite game of the year.
A flawed masterpiece. The brilliance and insanity of GT is still alive; and beautiful.
The most fun I've ever had with online racing. It's a shame to see Bizarre Creations die because the way this game rewarded you for basically everything, and drove you to keep playing more was brilliant. I hope they reform elsewhere and create a sequel to Blur: Project Fuzzy or something, because this game was so close to combat racing perfection.
Evidence that Sumo should be doing every Sega game. On it's surface, this game should be terrible: A Sonic cash-in kart racer. And yet, Sumo created a beautiful, fun racer filled with Sega references that warm the cockles of my former Sega-fan heart.
This is not the best arcade racing game ever made. Or even of this generation. Or even this year. But, it's a fresh, vibrant take on a a well plumbed genre. Split/Second had better single player than Blur, but Blur was a more deep multiplayer game.
I admit, I am terrible at this game. But this game is evidence that video game control is an art. The fluid motion in this game is beautiful, and maddening.
If this game was $10, I would feel ripped off. But for $5, this game is a great deal and a lot of fun for however long you enjoy the dialog. As a poker game it may not be the best in the world, but as a simulation of game night with some interesting, well written characters, it's great.
Infectious musical puzzle fun with a great soundtrack and a low price.
The Codemasters racing series continues.
CGA is back! Another game I am terrible at but I must respect the brilliance of this indie platformer.
