The nostalgia I have for this game blinds me to its many flaws. Good video man.

awesome game back in the day. i remember playing when i was younger. i remember all i did was do the races and other things. fun times.

Holy shit, I forgot all about this game. I played the shit out of it though, and loved it.

This was the first game I beat on PC, I used to play it to death.

God I love the music for this game. Nostaliga flashback, AWAYYYYY

Liking it so far, I remember playing this when I was a kid. There's a way to make yourself fly around town (just you, not in the helicopter) and I remember accidentally toggling that as a kid and freaking out because I had no idea what I had done.  
 
Just looked up the flying easter egg, all you had to do was enter the elevator, wait one minute, and then exit the elevator. After that you could fly around the island with the arrow keys.

Okay, part two is up now.  This one features the two racing events, as well as the secret cave that I said I'd go to in the first video and then didn't.

Man, i remember playing Lego Island. It was one of the most broke ass games i've ever seen

You /absolutely/ need a new microphone. The audio quality is awful.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I think the volume on my input was way too high so it was causing the audio to pop a little. I turned it down now, so hopefully there won't be any of that in the next video. 
 
I just got a question, how often should I update? I was thinking weekly, though I have no idea what the proper LP etiquette is.

I still have a copy of Lego Island standing on a shelf all pretty. 
Good video though something needs to be done about your mic or something, or maybe that's just me. Anyways, nice video

I had Lego Island 2 for my PS1 back in the day.... that game was mad stupid looking back. But I still remember it fondly.

Lego Island is the best game to ever come out for PC.

Hey everybody! So I just finished up the first in a series of videos documenting myself playing through the Mindscape PC classic, LEGO Island. I'd love it if you guys would check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEABH1DKEH4

It's quite long, clocking in at just under 22 minutes, so it's about the length of a regular TV show episode. I was heavily inspired by the GB crew and their Quick Looks when making this video, so I tried to make it entertaining and informative.

I love this game, and I plan to give it the Let's Play treatment that I think it deserves. This video is just an introduction, featuring a tour of the Information Centre and the construction of a helicopter. The next episode will feature more of the core gameplay. 
 
I hope everyone enjoys the video, and there will be more to come in the future!
