Before I begin, this whole scenario may be the result of a sleepless night. Or drugs. Or alcohol. Maybe all three. It includes wild speculation, and in no way could ever come true. But its awesome.
Id take Microsoft. I would hire WWE's talent to put on the show. Get every wrestler that can cut even a half decent promo out there, spend a 5 digit sum on fireworks, crazy lighting effects and sound effects, announce every game with commandos rappelling from the ceiling, expensive sports cars driving out on stage, videos of giant mechs blowing eachother up.
Start off the press conference dark stage (yes, its a common theme). Green spotlight on a pedestal, center stage. On it? A PS4 mocked up from the sony unveiling prior to the event.
Tick tick tick tick tick tick... BOOM. BLOW UP THE PS4 ON STAGE. LIVE. EXPLOSIVES.
Who blew it up? Spotlight follows cord that was attached to the podium.... It's Micheal Bay with his hand on a new Xone controller. He announces new title for the Xone, BAYSPLOSIONS! downloadable for new XBOX Live. BAYSPLOSIONS! compatable with every Michael Bay film since The Island, allows you to reshoot every scene with MORE EXPLOSIONS. Content licensing deals for movies like Transformers.
Then roll out Don Matrick. Start talkin' Xbox Live. New downloadable titles. Screens light up with logos from all the development houses that made new games for XBLAone, and announce that all previous XBLA titles are being rereleased and will be free to those who purchased them prior on XBLA.
Interrupt with Alberto Del Rio, rolling out in a sports car, introduces Forza. Queue demo.
Lights go out, the Rock, in full Ghost gear, rapells down from the ceiling carrying THE DOG FROM THE GHOSTS reel. They run on stage as 4 others in full ghost gear run out and secure the stage. Introduce Call of Duty Ghosts demo.
Lights go out AGAIN, crazy warfare sounds, mech warfare flashes on screens, queue another WWE star and HIDEO KOJIMA. Announce Metal Gear for Xone, queue demo. End demo with David Hater on stage to announce his return as the voice of snake in DLC only for Xone.
BLOW UP THE STAGE.
Montage of returning franchises from Microsoft studios.
Demo Halo and surprise return Viva Pinata. At the same time. Cross promote snap features by having the two players call eachother via Skype and decide on playing another game, together. Showcase new party features, and Netflix/Third returning title.
FIREWORKS.
Don Matrick shows up on stage again. He's got the Kinect in his hand. Walks out, puts it on a center stage TV. Launches Kinect Montage by using the KinectOne.
MORE DAMN FIREWORKS.
Hologram of Bill Gates on stage. Live from... wherever he is. Talks about how he never thought all this stuff possible, til hes interrupted by Virtual Steve Jobs from beyond the grave. They banter. Both interrupted by Star Wars sounds - introduce new Star Wars Montage of titles EXCLUSIVE for the Xone. Disney partnership. Roll that into other games, including for kids.
End the montage with Don Matrick back on stage again, ending the video via his "Smartglass Enabled Device". He rips off generic cover on the device to show its an Ipad, and announces exclusive content deal with Apple for ... <Insert Awesome Apple Features here>. Pulls out his Windows Phone, announces same feature for it. Screen lights up with Google Android Logo, same feature there. Also Microsoft bought Google. (I told you it wasn't based in reality. But, awesome)
Rock, the Call of Duty Dog, Micheal Bay, Alberto Del Rio, a guy dressed like Master Chief, Animatronic Fudgehog, HoloGates, VirtuaJobs, David Hater, all on stage as Don Matrick walks in front, thanks each in kind with speach about content shown so far, then BLOWS EVERYONES MINDS WITH NEW CONTENT / IP SIZZLE REEL and MORE EXPLOSIONS.
Announce that all games available in first year, all playable on show floor.
Fade to dark, bring up lights shortly after with janitor sweeping up parts of ps4 from remnants of stage.
Alcohol for everyone at the after party, served by beautiful men and women cosplaying the various announced properties.
Win.
