Add me as another that didn't like the puzzle game-play. Got about halfway through the game to the point where it just got frustrating, then gave up and watched the rest of the story on YouTube. I don't understand the mix of puzzle game mechanics with a visual novel. I had a similar problem with Cradle. I just wanted to explore the beautiful world, but it kept getting interrupted by that weird cube puzzle thing. I had a little bit of fun with it but it was just too much.
No touch = No buy. I cannot stand using the controls for Picross. I understand that capacitive touch isn't great with styli, but just make use of the larger screen and let you use fingers.
So I looked up the actress who played Katherine (Beth Tegarden) to see if she was in anything else. It turns out she died in 2014 at 49 years old. I can't seem to find a cause of death, but it sounds like she may have committed suicide. According to a friend, she "was not terribly happy here on Earth." RIP, Beth, thanks for a memorable performance.
