Lol I knew they wouldn't give Wild Arms too much time since it's a JRPG and therefore takes a million years to get started, but it's still one of my faves. I'd honestly play it again over FF7. And to answer your question, they made 5 main series (3 amazing titles followed by a sharp decline, and then 5 was all right) , 1 remake of the first, and (I believe only) 1 spinoff which was a tactics game.
When they started this game, the first thing I thought was "Yes!" and the second thing I thought was "Oh, shit, Ben's gonna have to do that stupid thing with the balloons." That sequence haunted me as a child (which, in retrospect, isn't that hard), and it clearly haunted Ben as well given the face he made. The first thing I thought of at that moment was the thing during Brad's Demon's Soul run where Vinny remembered what was in the Tower of Latria and told Brad to leave quickly. That realisation and instant dread is so visceral in both.
All of the hours upon hours upon hours of amazing content on this website, both free and paid, and my favourite thing is still the few seconds of Drew's face whenever Brad spends money on DotA.
Every time they shit on Crash, I definitely get it, but still...I'm so excited for that remake. Crash 3 is still one of my favourite games, and I think it holds up. Can't wait for a run at that Platinum! I played the first two recently and couldn't believe how much worse they were. Those games absolutely need analog control to be functional.
It was killing me that they kept missing the giant enemy crab's glowing weak spot, that you obviously hit for MASSIVE DAMAGE. Am I reading too much into that, or is this joke not dead yet?
Also, weird out of place GoT reference in the trophies?
