I remember that Crytek were quite famous for their water, but what about sea battle games? Why don't most developers concentrate on getting good water effects in games which contain a lot of sea battles. It is true that the water effects of AC4 Black Flag and Crysis 3 were good, but the optimization was terrible.
I wonder why water is ignored so much. As I recall from my developing knowledge, creating well optimized water effects is not a very tough job. It only requires concentration and a good art team.
Of course, naval combat has been part of many sea battle games, but what about games that are just built for naval combat. I am going to buy Rome Total War 2 just because I heard that it will have some naval combat, but I am still not satisfied.
I even heard that World of Warships is coming out, but I have a feeling that it will be arcady. Some people suggested ArchAge, which is again not a sea battle exclusive game. I wonder why developers have forgotten sea battles and naval combat experiences.
Anyone interested in building a naval combat team with me and cover sea battle games on YouTube? I am interested in PvP naval combat games, not strategy games.
I like all sea battle games, but they must not be arcady. I tried various games Empire Total War, the ancient art of war at sea and War thunder which were all suggested by people of this forum. I found Wind of Luck to be quite fun to play, but I don't have a team.
World of Warships is free to play? I tried another free to play game called Wind of Luck which is very similar to AC4 Black Flag's combat system. I would play more Wind of Luck or World of Warships if I had a team. The fact about World games is that you are put in teams of random people who do not cooperate at all.
I have been looking around for new sea games. I love naval combat and I require a cool game, preferable a naval combat team based game. AC4 Black Flag does not have a multiplayer PvP system and I am desperately looking for one.
I also like to talk about sea battle tactics and strategies that can help me succeed in games.
The point with low fps is that you have to deal with issues like mouse input lag. Otherwise, if you start a game on 30 fps and it maintains that fps, you will find no trouble at all.
I absolutely suck at sea battles. Is there any good sea battle or pirate game out there that I can try which will help me? I know AC 4 Blag Flag has a sea battle system, but there is no standalone version of it. I just want to battle at sea, not go through the story line.
