I really hope this was Volition's B Team and not representative of all that's left at Volition. The writing alone is such a severe drop in quality, so full of things Saints Row made fun of in its deadpan way, that it feels like the product of a different developer altogether.

I think both sides have good points, and perhaps if this plays out respectfully, people on both sides will learn something. Those immediately jumping to scream “outrage culture strikes again!,” some news for you: You are embodying the very thing you claim to hate. Calm down, listen, learn something.
