@conantheking: Yeah. I figured GB would be a great place because it's entirely disconnected, but has the same welcoming tone and intolerance for nonsense. I'm glad to hear people are willing to help out.

@Winterblink: I know. I checked out the main 'state of gaf thread' and saw everyone that made off topic a cool place that took no bs just being banned one after another by Evilore of course. Turns out the mods were the ones really holding everything together.

Whew. I was just checking out NeoGAF this morning and it is an absolute trash fire. I don't see it being worth going back to even if they eventually bring back Off Topic because most of the people that made it worthwhile just got banned for reacting as you'd expect. I made my last post on there and moved on. It just sucks to have that community burned down.

That being said, the first place I thought to come to was here at GB, and the first thing I see is a welcome thread! Thank you so much for rolling out the red carpet, it's awesome. I'm excited to get more involved in the GB community!
