It's always weird starting off a new blog -- something I've done quite a few times for various purposes (personal, writing gigs, etc...).  It feels weird to introduce yourself and just hope for the best (like people really want to take the time to read about some random guy), but hopefully anybody who follows me will come to know me better through what I write and what I have to say.  No matter what I'm writing about, writing has always been a passion of mine, and if I could inspire or become something of a reputable source on a topic, whether it be games, movies, music, advice, etc. to at least one person it'd make my life.   
 
Although I've been somewhat of a lurker here at Giant Bomb, I couldn't begin to list the number of fond memories I had of Gamespot, back when it was at it's height.  Watching On the Spot today is sad thinking about all the memories I had in high school, literally glued to that site, listening to every ish-dition of the Hotspot, and participating in the awesome community.  After taking a little break from video games, it's nice to come back and see something of a semblance of the old Gamespot's spirit.
