I thought I did my homework by playing a ton of Warframe and this game is STILL flummoxing. I don't even know how to equip a healing item and that's after about 20 minutes of googling where I just get results from 2012 explaining how to translate from japanese

Since PSO2 is now available on the Epic store I figured there may be a new influx of players (like myself) that are not only mystified by it but also have downloaded it and now have NO IDEA what's going on. If there aren't too many of these threads already, maybe we could post here for both "help me" and "let's be noobs together" info? I know I could definitely use some guidance

Seconding crush the castle as it still hurts that angry birds basically stole their game. Should def also play some of the old trials games!

This is an insult to every dev that busted their ass getting those versions made, on top of everyone involved in shipping this at all. If I had worked in this and got thrown under the bus by marketing saying “oops we kinda messed up” I would be beyond livid. I have worked on games that did well, and even THEN it’s frustrating when marketing talks above you in the best of cases. This definitely reeks of contracts with external partners biting them in the ass, I would like to think that with the reputation they garnered over the course of Witcher development they had no choice but to fall on their sword and circle the wagons internally but.... this is all gross and burns all the developers.

Overall this is a really cool direction and I love the aesthetic. 2 critiques:

1) I would really like to see the "upcoming" module thing on the right side at all times and newest videos at the top. I visit the site every day, so maybe those are specific to me, but those seem like the most important things to show to folks when they pop in

2) My eyes kind of can't focus on any one thing, all the grouping seems equal. Would love to see some grouping applied to the UI and maybe some colors associated with different groups?

It's published! Finished last night but just uploaded a 1.01 version (complete with... a patch note). I am extremely happy with the results, and my patient wife is extremely happy I have come out from my game development cave. Enjoy!
