I am really glad you wrote this review, I had noticed this game in my Steam library and had assumed (based on the thumbnail and font) that is was some cheap bundle game that had magically appeared. This game really looks like it is worth giving a try.

Just finished the game. Really enjoyable experience. The minimalist art style really works in its favor. No too hard, but hard enough to make you feel like you accomplished something when you complete the game.

@whitetetsu: Could it be Stonekeep? It came out a couple of years before Lands of Lore 2 though.

@mooseymcman: Thank you for this write-up. I had had no idea what this game was about previously. Sounds really interesting.

@jaccubin: Which games specifically would you like quick looks for?
