@yummytreesap: SOMEBODY ELSE NOTICED! Like it's GOTTA be Disasterpeace, if not they're just directly ripping from FEZ. Sounds almost indistinguishable.

Yeah, Dan's arguing was pretty annoying. I'm typically fine with, or entertained by, Dan's antics and character but this did get obnoxious. I don't feel like this feature has ever been about winning and his obsession with making sure Jason played "by the rules" and that Vinny/Jason were reminded by what he just did... I like how he responded at the end though that was pretty funny :D

I'm rewatching this series after Brad mentioned it in a recent quick look (for Slain) and, after watching VinnyVania, I'm noticing that ALL of the enemies in the airship level are right out of Castlevania. The dude throwing the boomerang (that can start bottom going up or vice versa), the birds, the flying dudes who travel in the waves (just like the medusa heads) I wonder if that's an intentional reference or not. Seems like it must be

@danryckert every object has gravity that acts on all other objects, but how strong that force is is determined by how close the objects are and how big they are. So of course the moon goes around the earth, because it is smaller than the earth, but it still applies gravity back on the earth. However, since again the force of gravity is dependent on how close two objects are, the force is greater on the near side of the earth to the moon than the far side. We see the effects of this in water much more than land because water is more affected by gravity (as it doesn't have as much mass as the land on earth does). Interestingly, because the earth is spinning faster than the moon is orbiting the earth, the moon is always pulling on the earth at a slight angle. Because of this, the moon is actually VERY slowly slowing down the earth's rotation and the earth is very slowly speeding up the moon's orbit! So that's cool I think

Yeah, maybe the combat looks stale (I think different reaction noises and maybe damage numbers would go a pretty long way?), but those environments are super cool. At first based on the loading screen and the first level I though it was just gonna be hallways the whole time but those swamp environments, all the outdoor stuff and especially the bridge stuff at the end of the video are really neat. Seems like this could become pretty cool!

I really liked this for some reason. The whole game seems to really encourage fun laid back conversations like the one you guys had, I would so play this whole game if I just had random conversations like this to listen to while I did

About the weapon wheel; I remember in previous games you would cycle between multiple weapon wheels while in the weapon swap menu. In Tools of Destruction, the first one for ps3, I think you got up to your 4th wheel. So don't think that just because they filled up that wheel there are no more weapons!

In Awakening at least, the pairing up thing they glossed over was like THE THING to do all the time. Especially for the relationship building stuff. I only ever paired people up, always. I wonder if Dan just plays this differently or if there are mechanical changes that make that less feasible? Very excited for this!
