No its not not as deep as the challenge mode in SC2. Its just progress up or down the tower by killing enimes, theres no dont fall off or low gravity stuff, unfrortenetly

While you didn't ask me, I'll tell you anyway:
+ Create a fighter is awesome. + Player match online is lots of fun. + Achievements are really well done. + The Tower of Lost Souls adds a lot to the game, but it can be VERY hard. + Tons of crap you can earn, unlock or buy. + Arcade mode is a good alternative to story mode. + Story mode is mercifully short
- Story mode sucks hard, and so do the endings. - Very poor training mode that doesn't have any on screen move lists that you can see while you're learning. - It seems tag mode is only available in single player VS CPU game types (story and Tower of Lost Souls). - Ranked online is full of cheap bastards who will do every annoying thing they can to win. - Create a fighter is so awesome, you'll be bothered by its few limitations. - I was actually a little bothered by the fact that I was able to unlock all characters in less than a couple hours. Character unlocks can be a big reward in fighting games, but this game practically hands you everyone but Starkiller, and even he wasn't that hard to unlock. "
