I did not personally know Ryan Davis, in fact I only ever saw him in person once and we didn't interact. He was talking to Jeff Green, I had no right to interrupt that. In the grand scheme of things I feel awful saying anything at all. I didn't know Ryan, and have no right to feel this torn up. I've lost some family members, but that was cancer and old age, the kind of death that lets you say goodbye. The kind of thing where, as much as you can't prepare for it, you can see it coming. You can tell them how great they are and how they've made a difference in your life, but I got no warning on this. I've always been bad with words, I don't really know if there's anything appropriate I can say. So, thanks Ryan. You made a manchild coping with depression laugh and smile, and you always will. Thanks.
So, I'm sure everyone's used to looking at the end of SW:Galaxies. But what are we going to do on the 17th? Galaxies will be over, there will be no event reminding us there's a tomorrow, does Giant Bomb just end?
My Pile of Shame current tallies over 50 games. Solution, nothing new shall be purchased until I complete at least 10% of the remaining games. So as of today I have to complete 5 games in order to purchase something new.
So here are the rules I'm operating on.
1. If it's on the list you have to play it.
2. Rule #1 is void if the game doesn't run on one of my 3 PCs. (All console games must be played)
3. I don't have to beat the game, you just have to get a feel for it. So if I just can't get into the game (E.Y.E being an example that will never make the list.) I can walk away. However, I can only walk away from 1 out of every 10%... so EyE is my walk away game right now.
4. I can still play other games... but with things like ME:3 and Diablo 3 on the way... Shit better get moving.
5. I can still buy expansion packs to games I own so long as I add them to the list.
