Just wanted to say I enjoyed the effort you put in to both starting this journey and writing all about it! I can’t imagine what kind of person would agree to inflict this on themselves, but more power...

@mondocool: Likely an espresso in a double-walled glass cup! Not usually a Halo person, but this seems fun! Hoping the feel is a good indication of the campaign as well.

  • Cameron_Friend posted a message in the forum topic What's your favorite game you can't play anymore?. on the General Discussion board

Prior to the discovery of the Homecoming servers this summer, I would have said City of Heroes was #1 with a bullet.Otherwise, the only other game that comes to mind is Marvel Heroes.

  • Cameron_Friend posted a message in the forum topic What's the Greatest Video Game: Into the Breach. on the Into the Breach board

Great write up! I should go back and beat it on Normal. I played the majority of the game on easy because I liked feeling like a tactical genius (a la Mort).I think the game is really smartly designed...

Another great write up! Seems like my decision to skip this game at launch and wait for a sale (which means it will likely live on my wish list indefinitely) was the right call. Really hoping the new ...

Based on this QL, I'm with Alex. It definitely feels cutesy, but doesn't go too far as to be saccharine. Sounds like Vinny maybe soured slightly on it towards the end, but it seems like a fairly relax...

Jan is a treasure and should be protected at all costs.

This is awesome! I always loved the idea of a “weird west” XCOM, but it sounds like this is a game that would benefit from the refinement of a sequel. I got this game for free from GOG at some point a...

I started Return of the Obra Dinn. It’s really clever and well made! It also makes me feel dumb. It’s not unlike Outer Wilds in that way!

  • Cameron_Friend posted a message in the forum topic Which superheroes do you want to get their own game?. on the Superhero board

@mightyduck: I always thought a Mark of the Ninja follow up would work well as a TMNT game, a la Cadence of Hyrule. Each of the turtles could be the different costumes and playstyles. Plus, Klei’s art...

  • Cameron_Friend posted a message on the post Ghost of Tsushima.

Looks neat though maybe not mind-blowing? This might be a case of mismanaged expectations about the level of polish & originality of the structure of the game. I think that initial trailer and the...

Shadowrun Dragonfall is great!Depending on the genre of story you’re looking for, I’d also check out Banner Saga and Invisible Inc (Austin Walker approved!)
