Knowing Japanese is certainly not a requirement to be labeled a weeaboo, as most that are labeled such probably don't speak it at any amount of fluency. I should maybe point out that the term is purely deragatory, and from what I've read it's most commonly used against people who mix random Japanese words in with their everyday speak as well as believe that "Japan is better than [country of their origin]". The grass is always greener and all that jazz. 
 
Not sure if you could call KaosAngel a weeaboo, haven't got a sense of how deep his love of Japan is. Then again anyone can be called that if they admit too watching anime, so sure why not.

*sigh of relief* I am not a weeaboo. For example, right before looking at your reply, I was looking up animés for a joke I'm doing in my next blog. If I was really a weeaboo, I would've gotten farther than Bleach and Death Note :P.

I didn't get the sense that any of this was done too shame them. I'm thinking that the parents probably rounded up the toys and then told the kids that they had to pose with the toys in a photo, so that they could put an ad out to sell them. Having to cooperate in doing something like that was probably enough of a lesson for them. 
 
The parents couldn't have known that this would make its rounds across the internet.

Beyblade is an anime meant for little kids. It is a show specifically created to sell toys to children in japan. 
 
Bleach is an anime meant for teenagers. 
 
Quality has nothing to do with it. Your analogy is like saying we should show 6 year-olds Aqua Teen Hunger force opposed to Johnny Test "because it's funnier"
