I really enjoyed the original one, it was a great xbox game. I liked this equal to, it would have made a great xbox game. And there lies this games biggest short coming, it's kind of ugly and buggy as all get out. The graphics are not that far from it's previous version, just streached a bit to be widescreen and some "next-gen" effects added. The environments are needlessly sparce (you'd think with the overhead they are saving from weaker graphics they could have added more into the game). What ...

Pros: Controls, Gameplay, Writing, Mulityplayer.Cons: AIThis game is over all an extremely enjoyable game. Clever writing and well timed set-pieces make for an excellent first time single player experience for DICE. The mulityplayer takes the usual battlefield machanics and waters them down abit, but adds another mode to spice it up. The only real short coming of this game is it's AI. Your friendlys are never where you want them to be and couldn't hit the blind side of a barn with a nuclear miss...

For a storied company like BioWare you might expect a little better, but from a francise like the Sonic one we got something much better than their usual.  There are elements in this game that actually manage to hook the player. Is this game good because of it's graphics? No. How about it's controls? No. Story? No.What does make this game good is the simple yet surprisingly addictive gameplay.
