Actually, I've had a job for around 3 weeks now, as you may have known if you checked my status. If not though, then here's another way of knowing.
 
Basically, I'm quality assurance for a company that scans documents for businesses so that they can read said docs on their PCs instead of going through a shitload of paper. My job, to make sure everything scanned right and note any errors. Tedious as all hell, but easy money none-the-less.
 
Just one more week (after this one) til my first payday. Am excited.

 As the title says. And wouldn't you know, a PC gamer who's genuinely interested in Call of Duty games. But I digress. Here're some reasons why I believe Black Ops is gonna, well, be a keeper.*


1: The PC version's getting the goods us PC gamers like. Stuff like mods (even though the tools will be released after the game's out), dedicated servers (even if they're exclusive to one GSP, it's MUCH better than forced matchmaking to listen servers), the good old dev console, and quite likely more. And yes, the game will be balanced for lean. :P

2: A little twist on the 'MW1 and later' formula with CoD Points. Not a revolutionary, or even evolutionary, change from the older system, sure, but from the sounds of it it's enough to keep things fresh. Don't think I'll need to go into detail on this one, so if you need more info do yourself a favor and Google it. Am gonna say that the Wager Matches look interesting though. :)

3: The campaign (shocking, a guy who plays Call of Duty games for the campaign as well) taking place during the Cold War, which in my opinion is rather underutilized. You'd think such a tense time period would make for some good game material, but apart from MGS3 (and its direct sequels also starring Big Boss), BF Vietnam, the Vietcong games, the upcoming BF BC2 Vietnam expansion pack, and some more I can't think of right now there hasn't been a lot of games that took place during that era. Hopefully the gameplay in the single player mode will fit the era.

4: Combat training does look interesting. Probably not gonna use it myself but I'd say it's a well needed addition.

*I'd like to note that, of course, these are just my opinions. If you disagree, I won't hate you so long as you keep the flaming to a minimum. Just don't expect to change my mind though, as the only opinions that truly matter to me are mine.
