@matpaget: Right, but player jerseys are customized in precisely the same way "custom" jerseys are, they're not a single manufactured item. And, once again, my point was that the expense isn't related to labor and materials; maybe Reebok gets a better wholesale price than Legacy, maybe they don't (no idea where you're getting that information from, though I suspect you're not getting it from anywhere), but that doesn't affect the market price for labor and material.

@madeppymage: Just did a quick Google search and TSN has a feature explaining how Reebok spends $15 manufacturing a hockey jersey that retailers sell for $330. Again, it's not the cost of materials or labor.
