@JoeyIA: No, I've got satellite. It's different from DSL and cable.

SO I recently got the Hughesnet satellite home package, with 1Mbps down and 128Kbps up. WIll xbox live run fine with that? I've already got my golden membership and everything works OK so far. But when I tried to play COD6 online, no matches came up! And I hosted a game, and one of my friends joined and logged out, saying that it was too laggy!

Should I upgrade to 1.2Mbps down/ 200Kbps up.
Or should I aim for 1.6Mbps down/250Kbps up.

Or higher? Please help!
Oh and I'm kinda cheap, so looking for the best deal.

And do I need a harddrive to play xbox live efficiently? I only currently have a 256MB memory card...
