I beat this game 4 times already, and it takes all my willpower not to turn it on and go for round 5.
A game that builds on and surpasses what Rockstar has done before.
I can't even read everything because it's in Japanese, but I've already lost 42 hours to it, and I don't see any end in sight. Gather a team and watch the hours disappear.
It's pure insanity, and a reminder that while the Eastern game development community hasn't been at their best lately, some of them still have more than enough magic up their crazy filled sleeves.
The single player was a let down, but the multi-player reminded me why I love the Battlefield formula so much. A game that rewards teamwork, and allows players who might not be the best shot to still contribute in a meaningful way. And it's always nice to just blow a hole in a building your enemy is hiding in and rush in Kool-Aid Man style.
I've never been the biggest Halo fan, but Bungie deserves point for going out in style. A great single player campaign on top of an amazing multiplayer mode. 343 is going to have their work cut out for them if they want to fill these shoes.
I had to return my sobriety chip. Blizzard got me again with 2 great new races, rejigged starting zones, and some great phasing quests. Now if you don't mind I have an appointment in Azeroth.
Damn, Jimmy.
Kojima did not lie when he said Peace Walker was essentially Metal Gear Solid 5. With a great story filling in a blank spot in the history of The Boss, fans of this series should not turn away. Add in an addictive research system and base management and you have a great on the go title.
It's still clunky as hell, but Dead Rising 2's combo weapons and over the top presentation help make it one fun zombie killing ride. Also, as a Canadian I appreciated the accents :)
