Dannnn. License to Ill came out in '86. You can't complain about "the kids" and then say you don't understand the Beastie Boys album. You were like 4 when that album came out. That is not a thing "the kids" say.
Awww Yisss. I assume "Aww Yiss" is from the Beastcast. I am behind like 10 weeks on those, but I see people post it a lot so now I am doing it too.
Nope, it's from the webcomic Hark, a Vagrant!
Futaba said "Aw Yiss" in persona 5 and I was surprised to realize how big that has gotten. I remember it from HAV and then it started appearing in general popular lexicon eventually.
Series seems great! Also, as others have said, I think it would be good to just let the full voice dialogue play out, if you can.
Also, for anyone reading this, and in case it hasn't been linked yet, the b est yakuza related thing I know of is http://boingboing.net/2010/08/10/yakuza-3-review.html (yakuza 3 as reviewed by real yakuza) and its a very good read
For all that they were down on the game, this QL also ended in me purchasing it, because I think it looks fantastic. I also never played the first one.
@danryckert there are BYOB restaurants in sf, theres one called Pakwan, its a great indian/pakistani place in the mission, I used to live close to it. They aren't common but there are a few others I think.
Ah yes, the Bioshock series, known for its deep and interesting choices like "Do you want to harvest the girl for more upgrade currency that you don't need, or save her to get the good ending?"
The other snarky thing I can say in regards to this is that there have been many attempts at bringing back the Twilight Zone and none of them have been successful.
that "choice" in bioshock was even less of a real moral choice than that, since you actually got more total atom, as well as free plasmids, for saving the them all. I love that game, but that "choice" part of it was bad.
I Just got to the discussion of the Baldur's Gate expansion and the firing of Alison Rapp, and I just wanted to say thanks for bring it up. I think a lot of sites would rather pretend this sort of thing wasn't happening and I'm really glad the people I like and respect on Giant bomb tackled it head on, and had a very good discussion about it.The part about having been a kinda shitty person as a teen or young adult rings true for me as well, I was pretty shitty when I was younger, and I like to think that I have learned and changed.
