  • Hmm, good point Black Rose, maybe we pick a show and then the discussion begins on it the day after, The idea was to have everyone simultaneously commenting about a show or movie, but internationally that doesn't work, I'm just trying to get this idea moving, maybe we can all pick something to watch at a unified time, via an online source. Maybe some posts a starting post at a ...

So I had this idea while watching a horrible show called WCG, on Sci-fi channel, and ranting about it
"Mystery Science Theater 3000"-Style, with someone else on IRC.

So basically the idea is every week we find out what is playing on TV on Saturday and decide/vote on what to watch.
When it airs on tV that Saturday night we all talk about it either on IRC or a Thread for it made on General chat, where we can just talk about it, and if it's god-awful we mock it, and if by chance we chose a serious/good  show or movie, then we talk about it seriously, but that's less likely.
 So go to

to decide.

Hey guys, after the overwhelming response to my short last blog, which thankfully was not "TL;DR" by a lot of people, I've actually decided to do more blogging regardless of reaction,

Anyways, I'm going to just make a list of links of interesting crap I find on the web, and the first will ALWAYS, be the most important, well at least to me, and hopefully you guys, so let's get started .

TL;DR Version: A list of the links will be made in order at the end.

Ryan Higgins's house burnt down not too long ago, in case you didn't know he's a pod-caster on Geekbox Radio.
So, the link here is to the post about his house burning down and how, You can help!! Yes you, right there, eating snack food and/or reading this blog.
There is a paypal button on the site and for now all the proceeds go to the guy, I've donated a few bucks and every bit counts, so If you feel like donating,
yes even in this recession/depression we're in, It'd probably be a great help to the guy and the podcast.

Anyways, now on a lighter note, for you D&D Dm's out there like me that use 4.0 there are two nice java based sites that make creating characters easier, here and here they are both fantastic sites that I have used to make boatloads of characters, good links for any D&D DM or player.

Next, I found a pretty sweet form of external online, it's called the Drobo I won't go into to much detail, but basically you can easily customize how much memory you want inside of it, meaning you can buy more/bigger Hard drive discs to put inside and carry more memory.

Lastly, in good old Stamford, CT a Monkey, not the one that ate a womans face, it bit a womans hand off before being stabbed by it's owner and then gunned down by the police, very King-Kong-esque

Anyways, now my friends I am afraid this blog post is at an end, sorry about the lack of funny. There will be more fun next time.

(Leave a comment if you have the time)

I remember when trivia came out, ahh the good old days.

Oh!, I didn't see you there <insert your name here>, let me spin you a yarn of ye good old days of Giantbomb and of my woes.
I have been on the site/podcast since it was arrow pointing down, despite not having joined til much later (I hate registration for anything)

As this site has expanded, strangely I have had less time to go on it, being unable to think of wiki articles to give a decent edit and finally hit 1000.

I have had more papers and such, and spent lots of time playing video games then on a site about them.

So to you new users I give you this advice: WIN

But aside from being dramatic, any new users that have questions don't be afraid to ask me, or any other experienced user, for help.

So, I tried Audio blogging, so many errors and problems and equipment I needed to get, I basically said, "meh", and decided not to do it anymore, capiche?
Also i've decided to start sectioning up my written blogg into different parts so It's easier for me to write and you to read, anyways, Onward!!!.

Now in more game related business, I finally quit the world's most addictive drug, World of Warcraft, that's right, no more for me, as well as any other mmo's anyways, I've also been playing a lot of Fallout 3 recently, trying to finish up sidequests.

Now for The Meat of The Day:  Stories + Opinion

Opinion:

Anyways, a lot has been throw naround lately between emailer's and certain podcasts about how "Most Video game journalism isn't really journalism".
Now obviously I can't remember the whole argument for and against it, well, except the image of Bill O' Reilly in dreadlocks, Which I'll post up later, anyways.
My opinion on journalism is that it tells the truth, there is no such thing as unbiased journalism because everyone has a bias called their personality, well, unless you are of the Borg. As long as you don't distort the truth according to your bias *cough*FOXNEWS*cough* Then it's fine by me to have a bias.

Anyways, on to the stories.

Stories:

Wow Brainwashing?
So, in relation to my quitting of Wow, I found this story on Wowinsider.com today. It's about the theory of how the spirit healer whispers audio noises that supposedly say to "Play Wow" and "Spend Money on Wow". Now I never listened to the music in Wow, instead listening to the...Official Giant Bombcast *Vinnie takes gun donw from Cogito's head*, Ok much better. Anywasys, I listened to podcasts instead of the music, so who knows how true this story is (Hint: Conspiracy Theories are Generally Untrue), but regardless, the whispers sound uncannily close to the stated phrases, but it could just be audio-shopped.

The Goonies In Space!!!
No, it's not another classic movie from your childhood, ruined by putting Disney Channel actors in it, and then made into a video game, it's Eve Online.
As reported by the infamous (Not the game) ShackNews.com . Apparently there was a large Mutiny from a guild/corporation called Bob's alliance, where one of the main leaders, mutinied  to Goonfleet, A guild/corporation run by members of Somethingawful.com , taking trillions of Isk's (The in-game currency) with him, to quote commenter, leyke, on one of the websites reporting the story, G4tv.com; "This is like if Zeus jacked every piece of crazy-awesome mythological equipment ever, said "screw you guys, I'm a Norse god now!" and left for Norway."  I believe this is both horrible and amazing, horrible because a lot of in-game work was stolen away, amazing because I can appreciate a good trolling or prank.

Well, this is Cogito saying Sayonara, leave any comments or advice in the comments, I hope to see you next time.

No sir I ask you, Who the hell do you think I am, I am the fear in the hearts of men , I am the question that can't be answered and the whisper of wind in the tress, In the hearts of otaku everywhere I pave way for maturity and dreams to be made. I am the silent death claiming foes by relentless onslaught. With my name carved into the sky these wishes do I execute. I persue the virtues of justice amongst the cosmos fighting against all forces. When you are sad I am what will make you happy, with 1000 flying fists I fight against despair. Under my banner long lives the pursuit to drive, to finish, to win. I am the courage to ask the cute girl out, I am the bravery to fight against bullies, I can not be seen, spoken, or heard of, with my mind, body , and soul I cut the infernal ropes and chains that bind the human spirit. I am the Anonymous name on the internet, I am Legion, I believe in freedom of speech, I fight to purge government of corruption, I like women and men. My thoughts and feeling, my hopes and spirits, are what drive me to go on.
Under all these ideas I collapse and compress unto my self, bearing the weight of god and surpassing even him, I fight for what I believe in, not what others believe in, or what I want others to believe in, but what I believe in. And with this thought in mind I ask of all of you,
Who The Hell Do You Think We All AREN'T!!!

So what do you guys think? Comments? I did make this up.
