I played KOTOR 1 on my switch and really enjoyed it. I will probably pick up KOTOR II as well as long as its not a buggy mess. Your worries/criticisms are valid for sure, but I want to play a little piece of gaming history good, bad or messy. I guess I have a unique perspective of it.

Yes, they were indeed THAT bad. Companies would just try to get the movie tie-in out the door in 8-9 months. It is what it is.

@onemanarmyy: Completely agree with you. It was really cool to see the seeds of Mass Effect placed in this game. Also gave me an itch to possibly pick up Mass Effect Legendary edition to replay them for the 8th time. Bioware used to be so elite at world building and characters.

Still crazy that this is an Insomniac game when compared to their more recent output. When they re-revealed FUSE, it was such a spirit breaker. That game looked lifeless and your write up seemingly confirms it. What a shame.

I was going for the Infamous platinum and accidentally overwrote my save that was at 98%. It was a horrible feeling. Speaking of Infamous, where is the remaster??

Dragon Quest XI. My first JRPG in ages and it's wonderful so far. The switch version looks fantastic on my oled. I have nothing, but good things to say about it. I hope it's charming the rest of the way.

The PS1/PS2 classics feel like a Jim Ryan curated list. A list made by people who don't especially care about older games. It is what it is. Jim Ryan said it himself a few years ago, so I'm not surprised this list is underwhelming. I will be sticking with the base tier of ps plus for the foreseeable future.

• Beat Kotor for the first time.
  • Still holds up in terms of story and characters
  • Combat is terrible, so I just turned the difficulty down to easy
  • I am interested to see how they handle the remake
• Into the Breach
  • This is a game that is always in my rotation.
  • Finally finished my first run today and it felt amazing
• Dragon Quest XI
  • Wanted to give a JRPG a shot and this seemed like one that I could get behind
  • No further notes as I am an hour in

Very interesting as a historical artifact. Watching that old trailer definitely reminds me why people were once hyped for a Duke Nukem game. I wonder if Gearbox will ever attempt to make a new one.
