I'm curious how this will effect Giantbomb's coverage. If developers and publishers begin hosting their own things before and after E3 proper, that'll make the week or two even longer. Coverage must get more complicated. Unless the publishers stream everything, then Giantbomb never has to leave the office.
@mrsmiley I think I may buy an Xbox One for this game. Also, it's really strange for me to scroll through the comments really fast and instantly recognize your icon. You've had that thing for almost a decade.
@pezen: I expected Jeff to mention the visible helmet elements in the top and bottom center, and then complain about it. Once I saw them, I couldn't un-see them. I think they look great, but it became a slight distraction.
This game looks awesome. I can't wait for the money fairy to sprinkle some coin on me so that I can get the console.
I haven't played the Beta so I don't know how everything works. Having said that, I like that EA has said there will be no micro transactions. That everything will be purchased by points earned from playing. Is that still the case?
I think the game looks very nice. The Frostbite engine never disappoints.
The gameplay looks like it plays similar to a battlefield game. That makes sense as that is what Dice has made for the last...forever. It's what they know and they're good at it. It is fun to shoot people and to be shot by people. I think it makes sense that any shooter Dice makes would feel, in some ways, like a Battlefield game.
I hope there is a demo when the game releases as I am not convinced that I'll enjoy this. I enjoy the chaotic gameplay Dice is able to create. And this looks chatoic.
