Borderlands 2.

Because Borderlands.

Borderlands is an action game, but I didn't put that on the list because I'm planning to make the same thread, but the only difference is that it covers Shooters.

I was looking for Resident Evil 6... Since I couldn't find it, I voted for Watch Dogs. :P

Seriously? After the E3 coverage, I'm now more cautious than ever about RE6.

I was being sarcastic. Hahaha. Just thought the fact that RE6 was left out was proof alone of its quality, or lack thereof. :P

I probably should have left out Splinter Cell: Blacklist too. I only placed on the list because it was one of the more popular showings. Other than that, the series looks like it has lost its touch with its old fans. Now the series has turned into a Gears of War clone, and the fact Michael Ironside won't be returning adds insult to injury.

I laughed my ass off during that one scene where Leon was outrunning an explosion.

I have to say Watch Dogs, but The Last of Us was really close. I voted for Watch Dogs simply for how unique and original its take on the open world was.

Half-Life 2

  • Incredible first-person perspective storytelling with memorable characters.
  • Excellent use of dynamic physics and dat gravity gun
  • Alyx's ass.
  • Amazing set-pieces that leave you on the edge of your seat.
  • Perfect mix of action, puzzle solving, platforming, and vehicle action.

I wasn't blown away by it but I did really enjoy what I saw. They're adding subtle changes such as new direction for its atmosphere and presentation. The new enemies look like they were play out radically different from the previous Halo games. I actually like the fact they didn't show off bit set-pieces because 343 Industries might keep them as a surprise. I probably liked what I saw because I had low expectations towards what 343 had in store for us at E3.

I just like to know what are the GB's posters favorite Male and Female LIs for Commander Shepard and why?

For me my favorite LIs for Male Commander Shepard is Liara. I guess I'm a sucker for the cute awkward and bookish types. That and I really liked how she developed stronger and more independent character in LOTSB. I was happy to see that characterization to be carried on in ME3, and the romance between them is very touching and sweet. Too bad Liaramancers get Starchild instead of little blue children in the end.

For my Female Shepard, it's Garrus muthafuckin Vakarian. Simply put, no companion in the ME series match his badassery and charm. He's not only the perfect bro for Male Shepard, he IS the perfect LI for Female Shepard.
