Will it be a technological improvement from the wii remote and it's predecessors? probably, but at this point i don't think it'll be more than a stepping stone on the way to better ...

  • @DystopiaX said: " @cspiffo: apologize for the (potential) double post, but you can't say that natal will be better when no one has tried it yet. Also, the wii remote as a piece of hardware isn't bad, but give me one game that uses it in a revolutionary way. I'm talking about more than using it well, so that you never feel like it hinders gameplay, but using it in a ...

I play video game with a controller I hold in my hand, not stand/sit and wave my arms like a jackass.  Hopefully motion controls will go the way of this dinosaur.      The SEGA ACTIVATOR    Google it and ...

  • @Emilio said: " Well folks, here's what I'm currently thinking:  1. YouTube might not provide me with the cleanest picture quality possible, so 2. I'm wondering if I can build my own flash web player and just upload the movies to my website  But that would mean I'd have to check what my hosting will and will not allow in terms of file space ( Host Gator ). And here is a mock up ...

  • Those lego games aren't really designed for the adult gamer.  I played about 10 mins. of Lego Star Wars.  It was so simple that I felt my brain melting away.  I feel that they are designed for the new generation so they can apprieciate these great stories that we all loved when we older folk were growing up.  My point is that these games should be made as long as ...

@bounce2 said: "Don't Americans pay almost 50% in taxes? If thats the case, whats wrong with the government giving back some of that moolah in the form of health care? And also, welfare payments, is that not some form of socialism or is it like health care, in that the government is trying to take care of its people? @Suicrat said: " @ErgoProxy77: It's about the American federal government stealing currency in order to buy health insurance for the uninsured, so it's actually about both. "This exemplifies the problem with the decenters thinking about this bill.  The government is not actually stealling anything to buy insurance for the uninsured.  The uninsured are already taken care of in this country.  This bill is more about making people and business accountable ...

I'd rather just get it and fight it off, leaving the vaccines for people who actually need it (e.g. people with underlying health issues, since swine flu is dangerous to them).   But it won't give you pains or make you throw up - unless you have an extreme phobia of needles or something. Every other industry has to deal with this :  Movies, Music, cloths, toys, cars, planes, Appliances (Especially in the buisness sector), pets, sporting equipment, books...need I go on?   It's never destroyed an industry and never will.  Game Dev's need to get off of their high hoarse on this one.  I know for a fact that were it not for Used and second print games (Greatest Hits) I would be playing a lot less than I do now.  Is that what Dev's really want?  They should really be focusing on incentivizing (Word?) the purchase of new games through DLC, and other additional benefits.

This site is extremely easy to navigate and it's obvious that all of you a Giant Bomb have been paying attention to what works and doesn't work on other sites.  I was surprised at the breadth of content you were able to add in such a short time.  Good show!  Me likes it a lot!
