@warcat777: You're welcome man. I thought there were others you could add as well, but I don't like to "tell" people what to add. I feel if you have ideas then create your own list.
Considering you have Robo-cop on your list, you might want to give E-Swat for the Genesis a play. It's a pretty fun title I think but really tough though. And Dick Tracy for the Genesis is pretty decent from what I remember.
I hear exactly where you're coming from. I'm about 4 hours into Doom and I already want it to finish. I began playing something else because I felt myself drifting, but I'm going to try and finish it over the next few days. Nice review.
I'm planning on picking this up either today or later in the week. Nice review, I took a look at your stuff and noticed you hadn't written a review (on this site at least) in about 6 years. It would be nice to see this type of quality on a regular basis. Anyway, once again, nice review.
@slag: Many of these games I had no choice to beat. When I was much younger my father said he would only buy a new game if I beat what he already got me. So I had to work for that new game lol. Thankfully he didn't do that for too long though. But yeah, many of these were a pain but I look back on them fondly now.
I didn't skip it, I never had a chance to play it. I should try and get it, now that you reminded me about it.
It sure was. I remember being able to play a lot of these games because I would swap games out with friends. The innovation was through the roof and games would be quite strong for decades.
@slag: Thanks man. I remember when I first played Ironsword as a kid it took awhile for me to get into it, but once I started to get those different weapons and make progress it became quite exciting.
Yeah, Guardian Legend is a game not many people knew about, but for those that did, many really did enjoy it and are quite rabid about it.
