It's true, it's true.  I am a self-confessed delay gamer.

What, you may ask, is a delay gamer?  Well, I think of delay gamers as people who still like to play quite a few games, we just like to delay getting and playing them.  I used to think I was more of a snail gamer.  You know, one who games so slowly that they get far behind. 

But that really doesn't describe me.  Sure, there are times in my life when gaming is limited, and so it takes me longer than normal to progress in a game.  But that isn't the real reason I tend to play games sometimes months, sometimes even years after their release.

I just don't generally get games when they first come out. 

There are benefits.  I usually get my games cheaper.  Major bugs are usually patched out by the time I am playing.  I can keep my PC hardware a little behind the times, but still enjoy a wonderful experience. 

So, I still love games.  But if you ask me about my thoughts on a recently released game, chances are good I haven't played it yet. 

But odds are good I will.        

Yeah, I don't think so.  But perhaps this can be a second launch pad for my other game blog.  Hmmmm.
