Because we all know that's why people play Mass Effect. For the animations. All about dem animations. Jesus....
Yes, they are not good, but why do the gaming masses always latch on to the negative. Why does it seem like the entire game-o-sphere just wants to shit on everything these days. They go hunting for the negative, find it and crucify the game for it. It used to be a very small number of people, then it was a very vocal minority. Now it seems like the vast majority of people have turned into terrible cynical people. :-( If this keeps up, if people keep crucifying games at every step, we are going to get less people willing to make games because they know every little flaw will the the tinder their game is burned on.
I think one of the biggest problems with the Yakuza series is when people tried to use Yakuza 3 as their first game in the series. Since it was the first one on PS3, a lot of people started there and...well...it's got the slowest start in the series. It seriously takes like a good four or five hours to get a good pace going. I'm glad Yakuza 0 seems to have a stronger start and so many people are getting into it.
I feel like they should have played through one of the Yakuza games before agreeing to do this whole series playthrough. I mean, if you're playing these games to enjoy them, they are going to take at least 20 hours apiece.
Been a fan of the series since 2...I'd avoid Yakuza 1 though. I kind of wish they would just wait for the remake, but I get that they want to start this while Yakuza 0 is still fresh.
Does anyone know if this will be a premium only series? I imagine it will be but I don't' know if they have said or not.
It's a question of "Can I buy the Switch without it?" If you can, then no, you shouldn't trade it in. There is some great content for the Vita that you'll likely not be able to play again, even when the system starts getting emulated (the dual touch screens will make it super hard).
Bringing up the dual touch screens is a bit of a stretch. I'm a huge fan of the Vita and still can't think of more than a 2 games that require the back touch, and even then I'm not sure. I know Tearaway used the back touch and maybe Uncharted. I can't really think of any great Vita games that even required touch.
For me, both those games are good enough to justify hanging onto it. That being said, there are plenty of games that use just the one touch screen and even the accelerometer. Can you emulate those things on a PC? Sure. Can you emulate them well with a hand held device that will also act as a controller...how THAT'S a bit of a stretch. :-)
