For all those calling for Stephanie Tinsley to get the Giant Bomb job -- she's probably slightly out of their price range considering she's basically the top hired gun in games PR.
Watching Dan & Drew do the Monsoon fight without parries and just forcing his way through it via dumb luck (and inflated easy-mode life bars) is like watching someone mix 30-year-old scotch with Coke.
I wish someone (Jason?) had told them at the beginning that easy-assist doesn't make him auto-parry, it just makes parries much easier and that they're still part of the core gameplay.
I feel sorry for Genesis kids who have to make things up 25 years later to make themselves feel better that their parents bought them the wrong system. ;)
(In all seriousness, the sound chip is one of the places where the SNES is better than the Genesis by pretty much every objective measure, unlike the main processor, which was slower.)
