Realms Beyond: Ashes of the Fallen is an upcoming RPG I'm pretty excited for. It will be have a ruleset based on D&D 3.5 SRD (there's an open game license for 3.5e) and turn-based tactical combat on a hex grid.
Perhaps the best feature to me is the developers are going to release the game with their supposedly user friendly toolset editor. So hopefully quite a few mods will created in the game engine.

The game is currently funding on Kickstarter for those who are interested in crowdfunding. It's quite an ambitious game but I can't but excited. I just hope the quality of the combat can match Temple of Elemental Evil.

I don't think this mentioned this on the Kickstarter page but Guido Henkel (producer of Planescape: Torment and a lead designer of the Realms of Arkania triology) was working on this game as creative director He contributed to the world design, lore, etc. Unfortunately it seems they couldn't really afford to pay him a salary so he left the project in search of a paying gig. I was / am hoping that maybe after a successful KS they could bring Mr. Henkel back onto the project.

I can understand being sketpical of any ambitious KS game though. I just hope it is funded as I have waiting for a game like this forever.

Realms Beyond just launched a KS. It's a party-based CRPG with turn-based tactical combat on a hex grid and a ruleset based on 3.5 edition OGL (i.e., Dungeons and Dragons 3.5). Looks like an old school CRPG fan's dream come true.

I have recently submitting several screenshots / concept art to a couple of game pages (Serpent in the Staglands & Unrest) on GB. Looking at my user profile, I see all of the images listed in my gallery but none of them have actually been added to the game's wiki page yet. I've successfully added images to games a few times before but it's been awhile... Did I possibly do something wrong or might it be the case they just haven't been fully approved yet? All the other changes I made to the game wikis have already gone through.

Yeah I'm backing it. Really love the art and the music and it just looks like lots of fun. I am probably interested in the PC version, although I do have a PS3... Don't plan on getting a Vita any time soon, but if I do this would be a great to have on the go.

Speaking of wastelands, Wasteland 2 is coming in the Fall. Right now I'm really psyched for Shadowrun Returns which is due out in a couple of months. None of the upcoming big budget titles really interest me.

If you are uncomfortable building your own PC / don't want to bother with the headaches (installing drivers, dealing with possible incompatible or defective parts, etc.), then I'd recommend either Digital Storm Online or Magic Mirco.  But you're probably going to need a budget of at least $1000 to get anything with decent components from those sites.

Growlanser Generations on the PS2 is probably my favorite JRPG of all time (it's actually two games in one).  Growlanser has a unique battle system and probably the best romance / relationship system of any RPG ever.   I'm very excited for Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time which is coming to the PSP this summer as it is supposed be the best in the series.  I also really love Shining Force 1-3.

Growlanser IV: Over Reloaded should be  Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time. The game is an enhanced remake of the PS2 game Growlanser IV: Wayfarer of the Time.   Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time is going to be the title of the North American release because the PS2 version was never released outside of Japan. "Growlanser IV: Over Reloaded" should be listed as an alias.
