@colonel_pockets: thing is, I didn’t like Spider-Man and I though Wonder Woman was way overhyped. Spider-Man was well made but I didn’t like the characters; Wonder Woman just felt like a DC film in the marvel universe, and while I love gal gadot, it just didn’t work for me. It almost felt like it was trying to be Captain America 1 but couldn’t quite get there. Cap 2 felt like a generic action film and Cap 3 was good, but it should have been Avengers 2.

I have different taste in superhero films than most, I like the weirder stuff; so I loved Thor 1, Gaurdians of the galaxy, and Logan but everything else was pretty meh.

I use the Netgear Arlo. It’s great because it’s wireless so it’s easy to install. Setup is quick and uses a base connected to your router. It only turns on if someone walks near it and you can set sensitivity and other parameters. This means that the rechargeable batteries last about 2 or 3 months. I caught a guy stealing mail and the quality was good enough for someone to identify him.

@colonel_pockets: I think a lot of people, including myself, have become fatigued by these kinds of comic book films. If this came out 5 years ago, you would probably have been more impressed. I felt the same way about Wonder Woman, ant man, captain America 2 and 3, spider-man, etc. All competent films but I just didn’t really get that invested in them. These movies have a tried and true formula that’s never deviated from and is mean to be generic enough to cater to the most amount of people. Star Wars and Star Trek have the exact same problem.

Most mainstream movies are bland now, except for maybe some foreign films, everything is just dull and safe.

My Science Project - I haven’t seen this in about 10 years and while cheesy, it’s still a lot of fun. Saw it with my buddy, a person that’s a giant nerd, who has never seen it before. He loved it! So yeah, a good film for anyone that’s in the mood for some 80’s cheese. It also features Dennis Hopper, playing his typical 60’s hippie role.

Foreigner a couple times now. Yes, it’s not the original group but man, the new singer destroys it every time. We saw them open for Journey once and Styx the second time. Both Journey and Styx were awful compared to Foreigner.

The Goonies - I've seen it before and my opinion remains the same as then. It doesn't live up to its reputation. It's okay, but not great.

3/5

Did you see it when it came out? Were you a kid when you saw it? If you come to it later as an adult I could understand why it doesn't hold up as well.

It’s barely better than vanilla Destiny. I don’t understand what they’ve been doing for these years because it feels like an expansion. There’s just not enough content again. I’m mad at myself for buying the game.
