@csl316: It's not just a few more systems - it's a LOT of new systems that you are forced to use if you want to actually progress in the game.
Like what? The GB staff have also used this criticism - that new systems are somehow forced on you - but if you want to ignore enemy weak points, dashing, ice grenades, etc. you totally can? Except for the addition of flame belch, the 2016 loop of running, jumping and shooting in the direction of enemies until they explode is totally still viable along with chainsaw and glory kills.
