My month in games: April

This month has been awesome for games. For only being halfway over, I've gotten a bunch of new games.
Well.. New isn't exactly the right word.
 
So, what did I get? Let's start with something from my last blog.

 Mine? My own nes? O,o

For free (!!) at work:
  • Perfectly working (I mean perfectly) NES, with all wires + 2 controllers
  • The old-school Zapper before they made it signal orange
  • Ice climber (CIB)
  • Gumshoe (CIB)
  • Zelda II: The adventure of Link (CIB) Crappy looking box and manual though
  • Gremlins 2 (CIB)
  • Solstice (CIB)
  • Super Mario 2 (CIB)
 
Now that's awesome for being free. heck, it's awesome for money too. I had actually just ordered my first NES when I got this :P so I went from 0 to 2 NES :D Still haven't gotten the other one yet.

  • Secret Service (X360) Haha. It was damn cheap but damn crappy.
  • Dead Space (X360) All ready had it for pc but I wanted to play it on my xbox. still haven't gotten through it.
  • Silent Hill: homecoming (X360) me and a friend is going through it. Not as scary as the first one ;)
  • Warriors Orochi 2 (X360) Interesting. I like to relax with these kinds of games from time to time.
  • Advent Rising (XB) Still sealed. Don't really plan to play it either. Also very cheap.
  • Metal Gear Solid 3 (PS2) about time I got this one.
  • Persona 3 FES (PS2) I wanted to try it and randomly found a Norwegian store that sold it and then I saw:
  • Persona 4 (PS2) Damn you endurance run for getting me to using my money :S
  • Samurai Shodown (SNES) I wish I had a neo-geo :|
  • Super R-Type (SNES) Oh yeah :D
  • Battletoads (SNES) Wasn't that great to be honest.
 
There you go. And that's just half of april :D If I keep this up I will crush a hundred 360 titles in a couple of months. that's a lot of games :O
 
Edit: Now that april is basically over, here's the rest of the list I got this month.

@MB:  That's why I never look into the steam store :D I only look if I have too much money on my hands (which is never).
 
I started using too much money when I noticed how easy it was to find retro games on ebay :D So that's where most of my money goes. Of course, I'm almost up in 90 xbox 360 games so there's that too

Tell me about it. I just built myself a beast of a gaming PC thanks in large part to help from Geno and some mods & staff. The last time I had a PC capable of playing modern games was a good 8 or 9 years ago, and Steam is making it all to easy to drop 10 bucks here, 40 there...you get the picture.

Since I don't really have anything else cool to talk about in my blog I though I'd just start to post about my game pickups :P 
I use waay too much money on my games :D

One more NES, 2 controllers and all hookups. apparently the ac adapter was from a SNES but I don't mind.
 
but more importantly, these came too. Random fact, Chrono trigger is only my 2nd american DS game :P I only got two with black boxes.

Well. it was really, really cheap. Cost about as much as a pack of gum. 
Actually it wasn't worth it at all :|
