@devil240z: I guess you haven't encountered guys in full riot suits yet...
well they don't have them in your average outpost. but when I have come across those guys I used sleep grenades.
Keep in mind that I have repeated a handfull of side ops like 100 times and I went from mission 22-29 in the last couple days only because of the thing that happens that forces you to rush through them. But my strategy has worked pretty well on normal dudes for the last 180 hours.
Also, Drew is going to struggle when guards start rolling out body armor, etc.
GOOD! I can't wait for that, because he is going to need to grow and adapt his play style in order to figure some of that stuff out. Blindly shooting dart after dart at a guy in body armor and a helmet is going to be useless unless he lands a lucky shot or two, and that CQC slam is going to start coming back to bite him time and time again.
Yeah its really driving me crazy that drew keep pumping darts into a guy until he falls asleep. I aim for the leg. Even if there are 5 guys standing next to each other just shoot them all in the leg and they will fall like dominoes. Body armor helmets no problem. I almost never go for headshots with darts.

Honestly the main problem is the observer syndrome or whatever, he knows hes being watched by us and dan and wants to do what he thinks we think and it just leads to him acting strangely and making odd decisions when he should just do his own thing and if it blows up in his face then he will learn from it like anyone else who played the game without being constantly scrutinized by a bunch of internet assholes.
Correcting a little misinformation: when you select "RETURN TO ACC" from the menu you still get all the stuff and resources you extracted, even if the game hasn't saved. You don't have to fulton your objective last to force a checkpoint.
Really? Hunh, that's going to save me a few bucks, calling that thing in can get freaking expensive. Do you still get volunteers?
I just have the bone stock chopper that costs 1000gmp to call in.
But just to get this straight, you don't lose any progress by doing "return to acc"? I still don't feel informed by your post doc.
