Just finished Battle Field bad company 2 single player, a few thoughts:   
1.Thanks for not introducing the PC gamer who hasn't played the first game to your characters....

2. I actually did enjoy the obvious references to MW2, the snowmobile line from haggard was nice. 
3. How many corny cut scenes were necessary with corny epic music 
NO MAN LEFT BEHIND! 
LETS DO THIS, ATTACK THE RUSSIANS GET TO THE PLANE, YOUR NOT A SPECIAL OP! 
 give it a rest...the best Cut scenes were the ones without the corny music and made an attempt at humor, like when the sarge asked everyone who wants to hijack a plane and they raised there hands... Not die hard laughing funny, but humorous and appreciated.  
4. Environment was great! Graphics looked good. Enemies looked pretty good... but some of the white dudes in the game like the army general and the spook have square fake looking heads.  
 
Overall this game is/was worth the buy for the multiplayer experience. The single player is worth a look if you have some free time, but DO NOT buy the game for it only or you will be disappointed. 

I never noticed that.... they really should have had a helicopter level....  
I have a tip though, it worked for me at least, when you are flying the helicopter use the WASD keys and the arrow keys and just don't use your mouse when flying. I find it much easier to control. 
 I also played it on hard and certain parts in the game had near unavoidable deaths.... that mortar strike level was SOOO stupid..... did you feel the same way?

I was incredibly disappointed with the black weapon reveal. The japanese super weapon should have been a Gundam or something.

The single-player from the first game was more enjoyable.  This game felt much more like your average shooter.

I doubt you're going to see that game come to PC, but I wouldn't get too stressed out about it.  The campaign of the first game isn't great because of some fantastic, need-to-see-it story.  It's cool because it's about a bunch guys just dicking around in the army.  It's sort of like the bombcast, now that I think about it, except Ryan and Jeff aren't heavily armed.  Anyway, you can pick it up for $20 or less whenever you get around to buying a PS3.

I liked that the ending explained the multiplayer.
War breaks out and Russia is invading, and then you jump into the multiplayer and that's what you really end up spending most of your time doing.
The ending was like, 'OK, that's done but the real game is just starting.'
